I’ve mentioned this on a few occasions over the past few months, but I’ve really been through it the past year and a half. To be honest, I always kind of thought I was about the early/mid-20s slump—until it actually hit me. Hard.
Luckily, I’ve started doing the internal work and reflecting on what I want to do next, and things are really starting to come together. But in the meantime, with my 4.5-day holiday weekend upon me (I’m literally on a train going upstate to visit my mom as you read this), I’m ready for one thing and one thing only: To blob.
“Blobbing” as I like to call it is when you spend time hardcore napping on a comfy sofa, eating food you enjoy, only seeing people you like, taking leisurely strolls that don’t require you to rush back to your desk, and more. I have perfected the art of blobbing, and I can’t wait to put it to good use now through Sunday for the long 4th of July weekend.
Speaking of blobbing, The Mama Bear will be taking a break tomorrow and Friday, as I’m sure all of you will be have things to do. I’ll see you on Monday!
Here’s to all of us getting our blob on until then.
Today’s new questions on Chairman Mom:
- How would you answer this question?
- How would I hit the ground running in a new CMO position?
- What was your best Fourth of July as a kid or as a parent?
